LOL:)....Thats what we always tell children..get good marks in 1th as it is your first and most important bpard, then do well in 12th, only then you can make future, then get a good job, spouse, promotions kids...the list is never ending:)..so the moral is do well whatever you are doing at present:)

yep I am sure ALL kids from our part of the world were fed the same tonic. I realization came when my dad walked in during my Engg exam and said, "This is it; this will determine your future....".

Good to see you took our exchange in the right spirit.
I also never truly understood this until a police officer said, "People uphold non-violence because someone is ready to do violence on their behalf"

I am sure a lot of youngsters go through similar thought processes, I just portrayed it via stick figure.
